How to search Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby job boards directly
JobApplyPilot · Updated October 11, 2026 · 5 min read
Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby are the applicant tracking systems behind the job pages of thousands of startups and tech companies, from Airbnb and Stripe to the newest AI labs. Each company gets a public job board on the system's domain, and every open role is listed there first. Searching those boards directly is one of the best ways to find roles early.
What the boards look like
- Greenhouse:
boards.greenhouse.io/company(newer boards usejob-boards.greenhouse.io/company) - Lever:
jobs.lever.co/company - Ashby:
jobs.ashbyhq.com/company
The part after the slash is the company's board name, usually its name in lower case. Each board lists every open role with its location, team and, increasingly, a pay range.
The Google search trick (and its limits)
You can search across every company's board at once with Google's site operator:
site:boards.greenhouse.io "product designer" remotesite:jobs.lever.co "data engineer" "new york"site:jobs.ashbyhq.com "machine learning"
Then use Tools → Any time → Past week to see newer results. It works, but it has real limits: Google indexes new postings with a delay, it keeps showing roles that were filled weeks ago, and you can't filter by salary, seniority or remote policy. It also only finds what you think to search for.
A faster way to watch hundreds of boards
JobApplyPilot reads the Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby boards of hundreds of companies every day, removes roles as soon as they close, and sorts everything by role, city, level and skill. For example:
- Software engineer jobs, product manager jobs and designer jobs
- Remote jobs in the US and jobs in New York
- Every company we track, each with its full list of open roles
Set up an alert once and new matching roles come to you, usually the day they're posted.
Tips for applying through these boards
- Apply on the board itself: it's the source of truth, and your application lands straight in the recruiter's queue.
- Answer the optional questions. Recruiters filter on them more often than you'd think.
- Tailor your resume to the posting's wording before you upload it (try the resume scanner).
- Greenhouse lets you create a candidate account to track your applications across companies that use it.
